Telehealth Therapy

Helping couples, and individual throughout the state of Texas.

So, you want to work with me but maybe you live in Grapevine, or up north in the Frisco area- no problem!
Maybe you're right down the street from me, but let's be honest, with today's traffic it might not be a quick drive.
Or maybe you want therapy to be conveniently done during your lunch hour, before you have to pick up kids, or from the comfort of your home- I get it!
Online therapy is the answer for all residents in Texas. Is this different from in person? For some this, is a great medium to getting support without having to come into the office. Call me or book through the form for a free 20 minute consultation, to see how I can help!

Emotionally Focused Therapy and Telehealth

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) has proven to be highly effective for couples and individuals, and its benefits extend seamlessly to telehealth, making it accessible to clients across Texas. Telehealth allows individuals and couples to engage in the transformative work of EFT from the comfort of their homes, breaking down barriers like travel, time constraints, or location.

Through secure video sessions, clients can work with a therapist to identify negative interaction patterns, address deep emotional needs, and strengthen bonds, all while maintaining the same level of connection and focus as in-person therapy.

Research supports the effectiveness of telehealth EFT in fostering meaningful changes, helping clients navigate relational challenges, and building emotional resilience, providing a flexible and accessible path to healing and growth.

How does this work?

Consultation- risk free

Scheduling

We set up a consultation to review what is bringing you in, answer questions, address any concerns- see if Im the right fit for you. (no worries, If Im not, I want to help you find the right person!)

Set up an appointment. I'll send a link to my online portal. You'll get sent some forms to look over and sign electronically. This also gives you access to a HIPPA compliant, secure platform for scheduling, messaging, and billing.

Reliable Wifi

You'll want to make sure your Wifi has a strong signal. This is KEY. Therapy is a place to be heard and if Wifi has issues, this can impact sessions.

Comfortable Quiet Space

You'll want to find a space, in your office, home, even car that is free from distraction and is comfortable for you to talk and explore your thoughts.

How does therapy work?

assessment

The assessment process is a collaborative one. We'll explore your goals and needs, and work to identify the best path forward. We'll start by hearing your story and history, laying the foundation for the rest of our work together.

Finding meaning in our experiences is an essential part of the stabilization process. We will work to organize the areas you may struggle in and help you uncover clearer, more heartfelt messages that not only feel better but create shifts in your bond.

couple finding love again

As moves change, our focus will shift toward deeper areas to bring clarity to the fuel behind any pain, giving both partners the chance to feel the support and connection they long for, creating a bond and relationship that can weather any storm.

  • What is the cost?
This includes the initial consultation and assessment, assessment materials and review, individual sessions for both partners, and 2 or 3 full days of intentional focus on your relationship. Over the 2 days you will spend between 9-10 hours in session. Over the 3 days you will spend between 12-13 Hours in session. 2 days- $2000, 3 days-$3000
  • Is it worth it?
Traditional weekly couples therapy can cost around $150-$250 in the DFW metroplex. This would be around $7,200-$12,000 for a year of work. So undoubtedly, this would be a more affordable approach and would also save you 3-4 months of traditional therapy. Wall Street Journal Article on benefits Not to mention the cost of separation or divorce in Texas. In Texas the average cost of divorce ranges from $15,600- $23,500, not to mention the emotional and physical toll it takes on you and your family. For more info click here.
  • What happens during the initial consultation?
Consultations are 20-30 minutes over zoom. Both partners need to be present. This is a time to talk about what is bringing you in, your needs and to set expectations. A good mutual fit is so important and the initial consultation gives us a deeper look into that potential.
  • What happens after a consultation?
If its a good fit, we get you scheduled for our next available intensive and get forms and consents sent to you through our secure online portal. Forms and deposit are required within 1 week of the consultation.
  • How do we prepare for an intensive?
I highly encourage and recommend reading or listening to Hold Me Tight by Dr. Sue Johnson as this creates understanding and an initial foundation of the work that will be done during the intensive.
  • What if we need to cancel/reschedule our intensive?
Intensives are normally scheduled a month out to give adequate time to prepare and plan. The three days are reserved specially for you. Should there be any change or need to cancel/reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. Your deposit is non-refundable however, can be placed towards a rescheduled intensive.
  • What if I'm not sure this is for us?
Thats okay! We'd be happy to set up a consultation to explore a bit more with you your case and find the best fit for you!
