Grief Counseling
Where Weary Hearts and Minds Can Find Solace and Peace In The Midst of Change and Loss.
Grief is so much more...
Grief is a complex and deeply personal experience that affects each of us in unique ways. It extends past the sorrow of death; we can grieve for the loss of relationships, the dreams that never materialized, and even the sense of self that shifts with life’s changes. Each form of loss brings its own challenges, often leading to a period of transition where we have to navigate the new ground below us or the vast sea we may feel lost in.

“Grieving doesn’t make you imperfect. It makes you human.”

Grief Comes in Many Forms
Grief is complex and can bring up feelings of anger, confusion, sadness, fear, even panic. It can be a chaotic experience when that grief comes from a place of ending a relationship or losing a loved one. When we decide to end a relationship we can find ourselves feeling fear of the unknown while also feeling anger and pain from the loss of dreams and plans.
Grief is not meant to be experienced alone or in isolation. Our mission is to provide a space to help you navigate your experience and process your emotions, and help you find a place to rest.
You Don't Have To Navigate This Alone.
Finding Ourselves In The Fray.
Grief can also arrive when there is a shift or change in our normalcy and life. It can bring fear of the unknown, and pending loss. Chronic illness or discovery of an illness can shift the ground we walk on leaving us feeling unsteady or unstable. We not only need to navigate a new normal but we may need to start planning for something that feels unfathomable, unbearable, and life altering.
Our goal is not to rid you of the pain and heartache, but to provide you a safe place to process these changes, a space to navigate difficult conversations and a space to allow grief and connection to exist together.

-
How do we prepare for an intensive?I highly encourage and recommend reading or listening to Hold Me Tight by Dr. Sue Johnson as this creates understanding and an initial foundation of the work that will be done during the intensive.
-

Should there be any change or need to cancel/reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. Your deposit is non-refundable however, can be placed towards a rescheduled intensive.
